Final reflection
Looking back at my earliest ports on my blog. My goal was to finish the 138 hours before the deadline and I realize I was unable to do that because I face some challenges with my schedule. The most important thing that I have learn during the past 12 weeks is that we should not be scared when we have to face new people because at the beginning of my internship I was scared of having to work with a small group of professional people but after the first week I find out that it was no reason why I supposed to be like that. The highlight of my internship was the day that I start to work with the student on the workshop at the beginning I was kind of shy because it was the first time doing that but after a few hours working with them I got comfortable with then. If I start internship next week again the only thing that I would do differently is to try to work the most hours possible on a day. By working on Block Institute I face some challenges about using computers and their data base something that I was not familiar with I overcame this challenge by my self because my mentor was always very busy and I did not like to bother him too much. My advice for the next inter at Block is that this is a wonderful place to work they are a very nice and helpful group of workers especially Emerson Armstrong. Something that I will miss from there is to work with the student because this was the most enjoyable experience that I have during my internship.

I have already been working for two full month at block institute and has been a really nice experience. I obviously have a very different idea of the place before I started to work there. The job has been easier than what I expected. The similarities between my job at Block and the culture of IHSL are that both provide education and a save place for human and the difference is that block institute is a school for people with mental disabilities.
Working at block institute I have learned some important computer skills like how to merge hundreds of letters that were to going to be sent out for each of the customers. I also scan and file important documents and many other little things on Microsoft word that are going to be really helpful on the future. The relationship that I have with Emerson, my mentor, and his co-workers, is just acceptable. We only talk about the projects that he assigns me and nothing us. I also have learned about how to interact with adult better because I think I’m the younger working there. I think my English has improved a little bit more because the people that work around me use a very professional English which I’m learning with them. What other kinds of skills/abilities have you gained so far? Think of the tasks you do and consider the abilities required to do those tasks. By working at Block Institute I have not faced any challenges because I always try my best to make it easy.
What I most want to accomplish is to learn all that I can from my mentor and all the people there.
